Residential property valuations for mortgage, lending and inheritance tax purposes.

HomeBuyer survey and valuation

A concise report focusing on urgent and significant defects, and including a rebuilding cost calculation for insurance purposes. Suitable for standard property, built after 1850.

Building Survey (or Structural Survey)

An in-depth report, giving a detailed assessment of the condition of the property, and a rebuilding cost calculation for insurance purposes. Suitable for all types of property, particularly older dwellings. Also, surveys of commercial property.

Defect Specific Survey

A report limited to one or two specific defects in a property, which are the only matters requiring a report.

All surveys are undertaken by James Cockle, enabling the practice to offer a personalized and accessible service.

The report formats include a legal section, which are of use to the purchaser's solicitor.
